Chris Duke holds a BS in chemistry and an MS in environmental engineering. He has done research in the fields of bioorganic chemistry synthesis, surface physical chemistry, chemical/nanoengineering, pulmonary inflammation, and cardiovascular calcification at San Diego State University (SDSU) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. In his own time he has pursued developing more efficient solar panels and fuel cells. He has created several new molecules for different health and environmental applications. He is the inventor of Air Cross’ proprietary technology. He is a Co-Founder of Air Cross.
Jon Duke, PE, MS, MBA, CEM
Jon Duke has 40 years of professional experience developing, guiding, managing, and implementing energy and environmental solutions in the Navy, in the aerospace industry and as a member of one of the leading environmental consulting firms in the nation. Mr. Duke is a retired Commander in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps. He is the former Director of the Navy Energy and Utilities Engineering Program and was also in charge of energy, environmental, utilities and other public works services at five major naval installations. Mr. Duke was the Environmental Program Manager for General Dynamics Space Systems Division, with seven Atlas rocket manufacturing and space launch facilities in four states. He led the multi-disciplinary team that virtually eliminated ozone-depleting emissions and won EPA’s Stratospheric Ozone Protection Award. Since 1999 he has been the Resource Efficiency Manager Practice Leader for Tetra Tech, Inc. and one of its principal consultants to the Federal government for energy and environmental management, renewable energy development and sustainability services. He is knowledgeable and experienced in energy and water management; environmental compliance, management and engineering; pollution prevention and waste reduction; renewable energy; greenhouse gas reduction and sustainability; and public works management. Mr. Duke holds both a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. He is a Registered Civil Engineer and Certified Energy Manager. He holds a Presidential Award for Leadership in Federal Energy Management and three Federal Energy and Water Management Awards. He is a Co-Founder of Air Cross.
Alan Hoban, CPA, MS, CGFM, CGMA
Alan Hoban has an extensive background in real estate development, management and finance and has been involved in the establishment of affordable communities as well as development and management in the commercial, industrial, hospitality and senior care industries. His background includes service as a senior financial executive in both for profit and governmental organizations. In addition Mr. Hoban has significant experience running organizations directly involved with infrastructure rehabilitation, housing rehabilitation and energy conservation and environmental improvement. His experience includes both consulting and auditing engagements while serving as a senior manager with one of the big four international accounting firms. Mr. Hoban has a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he also did graduate work in anthropology. Also, he has an MS in Taxation from Northeastern University. Mr. Hoban is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a Certified Governmental Finance Manager. He is a Co-Founder of Air Cross.
